Notes

1. The playlist is presented chronologically. Where a soundtrack album spans a number of points in the timeline, its tracks are spread across the playlist in the appropriate positions. Where music cues relate to flashbacks relative to the work they appear in, they are placed in the time period covered by the flashback. So, for example, the portion of the playlist that covers the events of The Revenge of the Sith also contains music cues from the final episodes of The Clone Wars and from The Bad Batch, The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Jedi: Fallen Order.

2. Concert arrangements of various themes which appear on the movie soundtrack albums have been excluded as they do not appear in the story on screen. 

3. This playlist incorporates the longest available versions of soundtrack albums. As such, many of the tracks listed are not available either as digital downloads or on streaming platforms. The effected works are The Phantom Menace, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi.

4. This playlist incorporates in-universe (diegetic music) both as found on soundtrack albums and as releases as standalone albums (e.g. the Sounds from the Galactic Skylanes album music tie-into Jedi: Survivor, and the various releases of in-universe music from the Galaxy's Edge and Galactic Starcruiser experiences). These are included at the appropriate point in the timeline for their tie-in media and experiences.

5. In some cases a a degree of guesswork has gone into timeline placement.
